Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Pepe Habichuela has said that her voice as sweet, sharp but also with a little bite. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success following her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won it the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. In 2021, her song La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami the third album by her, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. This set was released on March 20, 2022 following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the program. Motomami was the sole female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
